As time allows, I will periodically build totally custom one off instruments by request.  

 

These projects usually require considerable time in collaboration of design and an extra effort in building specialized fixtures and tooling, sometimes only to be used once.

 

For those willing to commit to such endeavors, I welcome the invention that comes with that process, and am happy to help see those visions to reality.

16.5" archtop acoustic

Quartersawn Port Orford cedar on big leaf maple quilt with a 3" sidewall and matched bindings. Honduran mahogany billet neck topped with an ebony board, nut and headplate .

25" scale deep set dovetail with a floating tongue that meets the scale at the 13th fret.

Ebony pickguard, tail and bridge with compensated bone saddle.

Kent Armstrong suspended humbucker and Rubner tuners.

Quartersawn Port Orford cedar on Honduran mahogany with ebony board and headplate,  bindings and details in Bolivian rosewood.

Mahogany dovetail set neck billet on a carved fully hollow construction with internal harp tuner in aluminum with brass guides.

Fan fretted 7 string 25.5" scale low E , 24.3" scale tuned to high A  (.008) distanced at the 12th fret.

Ten harp strings tuned to the A minor pentatonic

Stereo out with a custom wound set of Dimarzio PAFs and Barbera isolated transducers on each harp string.
